JOB – Control System Engineer (Entertainment / Theme Park industry)

LOCATION - Orlando, FL

TERM - Permanent

SALARY- $95,000 - $120,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

My client – a world-renowned integrator of Machinery and Automated Production Systems is on the lookout for an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join their team on a Direct Hire basis in Orlando, FL.

Candidates will need to have experience in ground-up programming of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems as well as strong Electrical Hardware design and networking protocol proficiency.

Those with strong experience in working through full project lifecycles for the Entertainment or Theme Park industry will be of particular interest.

The Control System Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• BS, MS qualification in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or similar
• Strong proficiency in PLC Programming using Allen-Bradley / Rockwell packages.
• Electrical Panel Design experience.
• Hands on Installation / Commissioning experience.
• Experience within an R&D / product development department.
• Have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

The Control System Engineer's role will involve:

• Programming PLCs for the control of theme park rides (Allen-Bradley / Rockwell).
• Electrical Design for Control Panels and Control Cabinets.
• Working on Inverters, Servo Drives, and VFDs.
• Risk Assessment.
• Ensuring compliance with directives and standards of systems throughout the Design process.
• Assessment of customer requirements and delivery of bespoke products to given specifications
• Taking part in Design Review Meetings.
• Liaising with colleagues on other engineering tasks and projects as required.
